A concern for all pilots, and particularly those whose livelihood depends on aviation, is that at some time they could lose their Medical Certification.
Dr. Walker is a specialist in General Surgery with 30 years of private surgical and internal medicine practice. He has been an Aviation Medical Examiner for 20 of his 30 years in private practice in Peachtree City. Most of the issues threatening a pilot's Medical Certificate fall directly into his sphere of expertise.
Dr. Walker and his wife Pamela (the Practice Administrator) are both active Multi-Engine Instrument pilots since 1983. This practice understands from a pilot's perspective the importance of your health to your livelihood and the concerns unique to the aviation community.
Dr. Walker will be your best advisor and counselor, helping you deal with medical challenges as well as anticipating and preventing issues that may affect your Medical Certification in the future.
In the event a condition causes you to lose your certification, we will be there to recommend a course of treatment and lead you through the steps necessary to return to flying status.
In addition to medical certification, we also offer the following AME services-
-Farnsworth Lantern Testing
-Cognitive Funtion Studies (aviation only)
This practice is open to pilots and their families. We support and encourage sons and daughters who wish to join the aviation world and follow in their parent's footsteps.
